Manager, Forensic Accounting

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid workplace with international travel potentially required for extended periods.

What you will do

• Analyze sales, production, and other accounting data from preliminary through intermediate stages.
• Observe physical inventories and perform price testing.
• Examine source documents and reconcile claims to final calculations.
• Prepare and review report narratives, schedules, and supporting calculations.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to obtain engagement information.
• Perform research, data analysis, evaluation, and compliance checks under state and federal laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least five years of accounting experience, including strong forensic accounting experience.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while working independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
