What you will do
- Repair and maintain building systems and equipment to support safe, efficient property operations.
- Perform scheduled weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, boiler, chiller, pump, compressor, and control systems.
- Install equipment and systems, replace parts, prepare bills of materials, and ensure tools and components are ready.
- Record maintenance activities and equipment data while evaluating maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors, respond to guest complaints, and train less-experienced personnel in electrical equipment and building systems.
Requirements
- Journeyman Engineer with broad proficiency across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Skilled in plumbing, soldering, brazing, pipe threading, fabrication, steam and condensate systems, and welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Knowledge of low- and high-voltage electrical systems, conduit installation, troubleshooting, refrigeration, central plant operations, chillers, pumps, air compressors, and control systems.
- Experience with boiler plant operations and commercial kitchen equipment, including major equipment brands.
- Technical training or QE-Qualified Employee certification, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge, and a boiler operator license at Level 3 or 4 or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the hotel or casino industry is required.
