Distribution Center Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Spindale, North Carolina, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse, assembly, and production operations, including layout planning, inventory handling, production scheduling, and timely delivery.
• Supervise 25+ direct reports through training, coaching, performance management, cross-training, and documented corrective action.
• Set and track production, quality, cost-efficiency, labor, machine-capacity, OTIF, past-due, and scrap metrics.
• Maintain standardized work procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and tier daily management boards.
• Lead safety compliance, line-down response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop Lean Manufacturing practices across production and warehouse areas, including 5S, Standard Work, Error Proofing, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams and collaborate across management, production scheduling, quality, and customers.
• Understanding of supply chain, sales, financial processes, applicable regulations, and workplace safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and successful completion of employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Understanding of Lean business practices.
