Director, Product Business Management (Advanced Products)

Location: New York, NY; onsite

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the Profit & Loss statement for the Advanced Advertising portfolio, including revenue modeling, cost structures, and margin optimization.
• Manage OpEx and CapEx budgets, R&D spending, burn rates, and capitalization or expensing of technology investments.
• Lead procurement and vendor management for software, hardware, and data licenses.
• Build financial models and business cases for early-stage product concepts, including viability, payback periods, and capital allocation.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and monetization models with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product.
• Run stage-gate evaluations and communicate pipeline progress, financial health, and investment recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is strongly preferred.
• 8–10+ years of experience in product business management, corporate strategy, commercial operations, or finance.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a leadership or director capacity.
• Experience managing a multi-million-dollar P&L and complex departmental budgets.
• Expertise in financial modeling, unit economics, CapEx/OpEx forecasting, and vendor contract negotiations.
• Experience in R&D, advanced products, or incubator environments and the ability to synthesize technical and financial data for senior stakeholders.
