What you will do
- Design, prototype, develop, and execute econometric models for data-driven price optimization.
- Build, implement, maintain, validate, and test pricing algorithms on complex datasets.
- Design, run, and monitor price tests to evaluate pricing hypotheses and strategic initiatives.
- Develop pricing tools and Python scripts to automate pricing processes and analyses.
- Analyze business data to identify opportunities to increase profit and sales.
- Collaborate with senior managers, decision-makers, and cross-functional teams to implement solutions and communicate findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or PhD in economics, statistics, business, information systems, mathematics, supply chain management, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets.
- Experience with at least one modeling framework, such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, SAS, R, or MATLAB.
- Knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts, including hypothesis testing and regression.
- Experience creating data-driven narratives, driving projects with minimal guidance, and using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- General office work is required, including sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
