Salary: $80,000–$155,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do
- Implement data governance standards, policies, and stewardship practices for Walmart Claims Services.
- Partner with business, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Data teams to improve data quality and resolve issues.
- Support metadata management, business glossaries, and the Enterprise Data Portal.
- Enable secure, role-based data access and governed data sharing for sensitive and regulated data.
- Deliver governance training, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Embed governance practices into operational processes and data product delivery.
Requirements
- Experience implementing data governance and stewardship practices.
- Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams and influence change.
- Knowledge of data access, privacy, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus at least 3 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area; alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
