Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Plymouth, Michigan, United States; travel to hirify.global JIT facilities up to 50% required

hirify.global manages material systems and supply chain execution across multiple manufacturing plants.

What you will do

• Manage material systems and processes for supply chain teams across a business unit with multiple plants.
• Measure performance and drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Execute formal materials management systems and support compliance assessments.
• Train teams and roll out new material business processes.
• Coordinate customer and supplier interactions as required.
• Initiate cost-reduction analysis and implement resulting actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
• At least 6 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with production control, demand management, inventory and warehouse management, freight and logistics, supplier management, material flow, and problem solving.
• Knowledge of electronic commerce, budgeting, planning, and financial processes.
• Ability to travel 50% to support JIT facilities.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
