Procurement Specialist (Supply Chain)

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (Puerto Madero)

What you will do

• Manage sourcing and purchasing of MRO materials, equipment, and plant services for capital projects and plant operations.
• Conduct RFQs, sealed bids, commercial evaluations, clarification meetings, supplier selection, and purchase order execution.
• Lead supplier qualification, maintain the Approved Vendor List, and manage local and overseas sourcing.
• Coordinate order expediting, delivery priorities, supplier claims, and invoice discrepancy resolution.
• Develop contracting plans, conduct commodity and market studies, and support cost estimates and budgeting.
• Prepare purchasing reports and Source to Pay metrics while tracking supplier safety, efficiency, reliability, and total cost performance.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Experience with MRO materials, plant services sourcing, warehouse and inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English is required.
• Strong planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of contracting and procurement processes, eSourcing, contract administration, or eProcurement is advantageous.
• Advanced data analytics experience with Power BI, MS Access, or Excel is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARIBA, SAP, S/4HANA, Ketera, or GEP.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
