EMEA Regional Finance Business Partner (Chemicals): Forecasting, analyzing, and reporting financial results for the European Performance Chemicals business with an accent on contribution margin, pricing, working capital, and regional stakeholder partnership. Focus on building financial models, improving and automating reporting processes, using generative AI for analysis, and coaching one direct report.
Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid schedule with 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. Working hours: 9:00–17:30.
Salary: €3,250–€4,650 gross per month, plus a monthly allowance and yearly bonus.

What you will do
- Act as an autonomous finance partner for the European region, advising commercial and product management stakeholders.
- Forecast, analyze, validate, and report monthly and quarterly business results, including contribution margins, costs, risks, opportunities, and working capital.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, management presentations, business reviews, and recommendations for profit improvement.
- Analyze volumes, variable margins, customer pricing, and pricing consistency in partnership with regional and global account managers.
- Improve, standardize, simplify, and automate recurring finance processes, reporting tools, analytical models, and scenario analysis.
- Lead, coach, and develop one direct report while contributing to strategic projects for regional and finance leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- 8+ years of finance business partnering experience with demonstrated performance improvements.
- Experience in chemicals, manufacturing, or a similar industry, including knowledge of manufacturing environments and product costing.
- Experience working independently in regional or matrixed environments with stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Experience managing or leading finance talent, including coaching, prioritization, feedback, and development.
- Strong financial principles, analytical, presentation, modeling, scenario analysis, and Excel skills, including Power Query and pivot tools; practical use of generative AI or advanced digital tools in finance.
