Location: Riverside, California, USA; onsite machine-shop role

Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime

What you will do

• Provide daily work direction and prioritize workload for the Walker Evans Machine Shop.
• Lead the department or shift when supervision is absent and motivate team members to meet productivity and deadline targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, engagement, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, process failures, incomplete procedures, and training deficiencies.
• Use data-driven problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for customer service and quality issues.
• Train associates, participate in daily start-of-shift meetings, and support security and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing machine-shop environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience leading teams.
• Ability to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and work calmly in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to acquire a forklift license and remain flexible to cover overtime and absences.
• Regular onsite work is required, including spending approximately 90% of the time on the production floor.
