What you will do
- Translate quantitative and product requirements into documentation for engineering implementation, including data fields, refresh cadence, and intended use.
- Evaluate market data providers based on coverage, accuracy, timeliness, licensing, and commercial trade-offs.
- Assist with designing and implementing internal benchmarks, including peer grouping, normalization, data sourcing, and measurement intervals.
- Validate data outputs and benchmark calculations for accuracy, consistency, and defensibility across products.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to test, monitor, and scale data integrations and benchmark generation.
- Contribute to discovery, research, and scoping for issuer-facing and professional-facing applications and future products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with close attention to data quality and detail.
- Foundational understanding of fixed income markets, yield concepts, public sector instruments, and market data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain quantitative concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time in the Charlotte office.
