What you will do

• Produce, report, shoot, write, voice, and edit news content for broadcast, web, and other platforms.
• Report live from the field or from the station studio.
• Research news events, evaluate leads, and develop accurate and meaningful story ideas.
• Arrange interviews and pitch stories relevant to the local community.
• Review and revise copy for editorial accuracy, grammar, punctuation, quality, and timing.
• Maintain journalistic integrity and complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Fluent English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong on-air presence and the ability to ad-lib when required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
