What you will do
- Design and build scalable Java backend systems for distributed, data-intensive environments.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of reliable multi-service systems handling large-scale data processing.
- Develop and optimize concurrent and multi-threaded applications using synchronization patterns, locks, barriers, and atomic operations.
- Build and maintain high-volume data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes workloads, deployment strategies, scaling policies, and resource allocation.
- Define APIs and service contracts, implement observability, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, systems engineering, or full-stack development.
- Deep proficiency in Java and advanced language features.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, consistency, fault tolerance, data replication, concurrency, and multi-threading.
- Production-level Kubernetes experience, plus strong SQL and database design fundamentals.
- Experience with profiling, performance optimization, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Advanced English required for communication with global teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Spring Framework or other modern Java backend frameworks.
- Kafka or event-streaming architecture experience.
- Reactive programming or reactive systems design experience.
- Background in programmatic advertising or real-time data processing.
