What you will do
- Manage current production and launch seating programs comprising multiple related projects.
- Lead the Simultaneous Development Team, coordinating deliverables, timing, meetings, suppliers, and customer communication.
- Manage scope changes, engineering changes, customer and supplier issues, service parts, warranty improvements, and corrective actions.
- Plan and support product launches, including plant pre-production builds, material readiness, testing, and launch performance targets.
- Manage program timing, gate reviews, CAD schedules, prototype builds, testing schedules, and open issues.
- Lead financial roadmaps, cost targets, program profitability, craftsmanship objectives, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and launch activities.
- Strong program timing, scope management, financial reporting, risk mitigation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to support plant launches and manage product, manufacturing, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and adapt interpersonal style accordingly.
Nice to have
- Experience with complete seats, automotive interiors, or metals.
