What you will do
- Program PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
- Test industrial control systems and start up systems in the field.
- Support City of Dayton SCADA staff and water treatment plant engineering and operations staff.
- Assist with field investigations, start-up activities, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
- Handle additional duties assigned by the Dayton Senior SCADA Engineer and Project Manager.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an ABET/EAC-accredited four-year bachelor’s degree program.
- Degree focus in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Clear and concise written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings, with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
