Senior Spectrum Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States; 100% in-person. Remote and hybrid work are unavailable.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the procurement, assignment, and protection of radio frequencies supporting customer telecommunications requirements.
• Prepare engineering data for national and international meetings, working groups, conferences, and subcommittees.
• Analyze spectrum data, radio equipment, and radio propagation to identify and resolve frequency assignment conflicts.
• Coordinate frequency-management actions with federal, non-federal, military, and foreign government officials.
• Study customer frequency assignments and direct adjustments, sharing, or reassignment to improve spectrum efficiency.
• Evaluate frequency allocation tables, channel plans, and proposed changes to international Radio Regulations for their impact on customer systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or graduation from an approved military spectrum management course.
• At least 10 years of experience in spectrum management related to the role's duties.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for the US Government contract.
• Applicants must be able to work in person in Honolulu, Hawaii.
