TL;DR
Contracts Advisor / Category Specialist (Contracting and Procurement): Developing, negotiating, and executing commercial contracts and category plans for Chevron operating companies with an accent on supplier relationships, cost improvement, and contract lifecycle management. Focus on analyzing complex contracting options, drafting and redlining agreements, and coordinating negotiations with business stakeholders and legal counsel.

Location: Buenos Aires BASSC Madero Office, Puerto Madero, Argentina. Only local candidates will be considered; relocation is not offered.

What you will do

  • Support contracting requests for hirify.global operating companies across multiple business areas.
  • Develop annual category and contracting plans, cost improvement targets, and execution strategies.
  • Review, analyze, draft, redline, amend, and manage contracts, statements of work, and service orders.
  • Negotiate agreements with new and existing suppliers in collaboration with legal counsel.
  • Monitor contract lifecycle performance, savings, renewals, modifications, and supplier relationships.
  • Improve procurement policies, processes, best practices, and technology adoption.

Requirements

  • Experience in contracting and/or category management, including creating, renewing, and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Ability to perform technical and commercial analysis for procuring services and evaluating multiple solutions.
  • Knowledge of contracting terminology, terms and conditions, and practical contracting principles.
  • Ability to develop execution plans, collaborate with stakeholders, and build consensus in multicultural, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
