TL;DR
Director, Talent Development & Strategy (Talent Development/Workday): Building and scaling WME’s assistant-to-agent development ecosystem across Music and other agency business areas with an accent on onboarding, training, performance management, and career progression. Focus on designing Workday-enabled performance frameworks, integrating early-career programs, and leading cross-functional initiatives across HR, Operations, Recruitment, Inclusion, and agency leadership.
Location: Beverly Hills, California, at 9601 Wilshire
Salary: $105,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead the agency-wide strategy for assistant-to-agent development, including onboarding, training, trainee integration, and early-career agent programs.
- Design and standardize performance management frameworks, including expectations, success metrics, feedback cycles, evaluations, coaching plans, and performance documentation.
- Build and use Workday to administer goal setting, review cycles, and performance management processes while maintaining data integrity.
- Lead cross-functional HR, Inclusion, Operations, Recruitment, and development sprints focused on training curricula, career pathways, promotion criteria, and onboarding.
- Oversee consistent in-person and virtual onboarding and orientation experiences for assistants and agents.
- Coordinate with HR, Business Operations, Recruitment, Inclusion, and department leadership across Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and London.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or a related field.
- Previous experience using Workday as an HRIS is required.
- Experience building and using Workday for performance management processes.
- Experience designing scalable development programs in a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Strong understanding of early-career pipelines, performance management, and career progression frameworks.
- Strategic and tactical execution skills, with strong communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
