Sprinter (Healthcare)

Location: Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. The role requires traveling in a personal vehicle to patients’ homes.

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide preventative, diagnostic, and low-acuity care in patients’ homes.
• Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, diabetic retina imaging, and ECGs.
• Use mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.
• Prepare daily supplies and personal protective equipment before patient visits.
• Build compassionate relationships with patients and deliver comfortable, patient-centered care.
• Label collected samples correctly and coordinate delivery to the appropriate laboratory or shipment facility.

Requirements

• Previous venipuncture experience.
• State-required clinical licensure or proof of training, or national certification where state licensure is not required.
• Basic Life Support certification and proof of completed clinical education or certification.
• Valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, and solve problems in the field.
• Ability to access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds while walking.
