Construction/Contract Manager

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States. The role is based at a hirify.global site and may require relocation to another hirify.global site after 2–3 years if the capital workload shifts.

Salary: $97,843–$152,880 annually, plus an 8% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate all construction, installation, and support activities for assigned capital projects.
• Develop contracting strategies, select contractors, establish safety expectations, and create integrated project schedules.
• Coordinate hirify.global and contractor resources across safety, technical, controls, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity, quality, costs, schedules, and safety objectives.
• Perform constructability analyses, define construction scopes, and introduce cost-effective construction technologies.
• Administer contracts, lead site contract administrators, and manage installation changes and change documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of industrial construction experience and experience managing multiple capital construction projects.
• Experience delivering field execution through contractors and planning contracted field work with anticipated barriers, contingencies, and resource requirements.
• Ability to perform constructability analyses and apply best practices in safety, contracting, sourcing, cost control, quality assurance, scheduling, invoicing, value engineering, and front-end loading.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience with Primavera, critical path method scheduling, project change orders, purchasing processes, and construction or site safety procedures.
• Experience leading contractors, coordinating diverse field-execution stakeholders, reviewing estimates, negotiating, and translating project scope into cost estimates.
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office tools.
