Vice President - Restaurant Technology & Operations - Arby’s & SONIC (AI & Automation): Leading the stability, scalability, and performance of restaurant, digital, and enterprise technology platforms across a geographically distributed restaurant organization with an accent on ITSM-aligned operations, vendor governance, and service reliability. Focus on building operational strategies, leading technology teams, managing enterprise incidents and rollouts, and applying AI and automation to improve efficiency, decision-making, and service performance.
Location: Atlanta Support Center, with an expected on-site presence of 80%

is a multi-brand restaurant company operating more than 33,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide.
What you will do
- Lead multiple teams of Directors and Managers responsible for restaurant, off-premise, and enterprise technology operations.
- Own strategies and operational plans that improve uptime, service levels, cost efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
- Oversee ITSM-aligned processes, complex vendor ecosystems, enterprise rollouts, and executive escalation for technology incidents and service performance.
- Partner with Operations, Digital, Finance, franchisees, and external vendors to translate business strategies into reliable operational outcomes.
- Develop leaders, strengthen succession planning, and build a culture of accountability, customer satisfaction, and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the strategy and operationalization of AI and automation technologies within the function.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT management.
- 15+ years leading cross-functional programs with business leaders, product managers, and vendors in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
- 10+ years leading retail physical-store technology environments is required.
- Experience with restaurant technologies such as POS, kiosks, digital menu boards or signage, and in-store infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Four-year degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, Microsoft operating systems and software, technical requirements, integrations, services-based architecture, and practical AI applications.
