Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (Louisiana)

Location: Mandeville, Louisiana; hiring locations in Covington and Shreveport, Louisiana. Training is held on-site, followed by required relocation within the United States after completion.

Compensation: $28.85 per hour in specified states, based on a full-time schedule. Relocation or cost-of-living adjustments may be available.

What you will do

• Complete a six-month, hands-on management training program in a distribution warehouse.
• Perform duties across operations, management, purchasing, and other distribution-center functions.
• Shadow experienced employees, contractors, builders, service providers, and retail customers to learn the industry.
• Attend classroom sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Complete special operations projects and present program results to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in industrial distribution, supply chain management, management, operations, or a related discipline, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience, including relevant internships, organizations, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
• Ability and willingness to work in a distribution warehouse and lead a team in a changing environment.
• Ability and willingness to relocate during and after the program at company expense.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and lift products weighing up to 75 pounds.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn inventory and other business systems.
