TL;DR
IT Manager (Fintech): Building and operating scalable corporate IT systems for a growing restaurant-financing and customer-engagement platform with an accent on employee technology, identity and access, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and office technology. Focus on strengthening device and access controls, automating onboarding and offboarding, improving Austin office reliability, and developing the internal IT operating model.
Location: Austin, Texas — in office 5 days per week

What you will do
- Own and continuously improve the corporate IT environment across employee technology, identity and access, endpoint management, SaaS applications, security, office technology, vendors, and support.
- Manage a predominantly macOS environment, including MDM, endpoint security, patching, device lifecycle, and remote access.
- Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and other SaaS platforms, including IAM, SSO/MFA, onboarding, offboarding, and employee access.
- Build scalable IT processes, documentation, service standards, automation, metrics, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot employee technology, WiFi, connectivity, conference rooms, and office systems in Austin.
- Manage hardware, software licensing, vendors, contracts, and IT spend while partnering with Platform Engineering and Security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive corporate IT or IT operations experience.
- Experience building or significantly improving IT operations in a startup, high-growth, or rapidly changing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with macOS and Google Workspace administration.
- Experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, Rippling, Intune, or Workspace ONE.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, SaaS administration, WiFi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience managing vendors, hardware, software licensing, IT spend, and IT support resources.
Nice to have
- Experience building or scaling an internal IT function.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager, Ubiquiti/UniFi, Tailscale, or ITSM platforms.
- Experience supporting SOC 2, PCI, or similar compliance programs.
- Experience using scripting, APIs, automation, or AI to improve IT efficiency.
