What you will do

• Sell television, digital, and social media advertising solutions to local businesses and advertising agencies.
• Generate advertising revenue through existing accounts, cold outreach, and new business development.
• Build credible relationships with the local business community and maintain assigned accounts.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations explaining how advertising can promote client products and services.
• Provide advertising placement rates and develop media schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Coordinate with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to meet them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
