Director of Foreign Exchange Trading

hirify.global operates this role within its Commercial Banking business unit and International Banking function.

What you will do

• Manage the bank’s foreign exchange trading desk and risk arising from client and bank FX exposures.
• Develop hedging strategies, execute transactions, and expand foreign exchange products and fee income.
• Build relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Treasury and Finance Managers, counterparties, correspondent banks, and liquidity providers.
• Provide market research, identify trading opportunities, and market the bank’s foreign exchange platform.
• Coordinate with Finance, Back Office, and the FX platform vendor to resolve post-trade and system issues.
• Guide and train sales staff, administrative support staff, and junior FX professionals.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Expertise in foreign exchange trading, risk management, transaction execution, and client relationship development.
• Experience with FX systems such as Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, 360T, or FX All is highly required.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, project management, and management skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
