What you will do
- Provide patient care focused on eye and vision care, general health, and wellbeing.
- Establish practice days and hours of operation.
- Control the patient schedule and set the professional fee schedule.
- Operate independently from leased space inside the store.
- Optionally use equipment, instrumentation, administrative support, or optometric technician support for fair market value where permitted by state law.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state optometry license.
- Ophthalmologist MD or DO degree from an accredited school.
- Valid state ophthalmology license.
- General liability certificate and professional liability insurance certificate.
- The arrangement is an independent lease agreement, not employment with Walmart or its subsidiaries.
