Associate, Portfolio Operations, Primary Investments

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement with regular office attendance. Employees receive 18 remote workdays per quarter with manager approval.

Base salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and additional total rewards.

What you will do

• Prepare, maintain, and present materials for internal and external quarterly portfolio reviews and updates.
• Support fundraising and marketing-related requests by developing quantitative and qualitative responses.
• Prepare and maintain materials for investment forums, annual meetings, and advisory boards.
• Analyze the performance of primary-focused funds for internal analysis and fundraising activities.
• Use data to create templates and maintain standardized recurring analyses supporting strategy team metrics.
• Identify and implement technology initiatives that improve business activities and address team needs.

Requirements

• Understanding of private markets.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Experience designing, creating, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerBI.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
