Process Engineer, Taste (Chemical Manufacturing): Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for flavor products in a production plant with an accent on process engineering, operational excellence, EHSS compliance, and CAPEX execution. Focus on analyzing production data, leading process improvement initiatives, managing scale-up and manufacturing transfers, and validating new equipment and technologies.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing flavor products, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, material balances, and process specifications.
- Lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives covering productivity, yield, quality, capacity utilization, efficiency, cost performance, workflow optimization, and time-and-motion studies.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, troubleshoot operational issues, and recommend measurable, data-driven solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and HAZOP studies while implementing safe operating processes and maintaining EHSS compliance.
- Plan and support CAPEX projects from engineering design and equipment selection through commissioning, start-up, and performance validation.
- Support process scale-up and manufacturing transfers, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, R&D, and external manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience with data-driven improvement projects involving production efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and CAPEX implementation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
