What you will do
- Write, edit, and publish accurate news stories and conversational scripts for web, streaming, and other digital platforms.
- Produce and edit video content using OBS Studio and other live-production tools.
- Host CTV shows and coordinate guests for in-studio and remote appearances.
- Plan daily content, schedule connected-TV programming blocks, and coordinate KHON+ shows.
- Work with assignment desks, reporters, anchors, producers, and digital teams to distribute breaking news in real time.
- Monitor social media, analytics, and viewer behavior to guide content decisions.
Requirements
- Ability to write clear, concise, accurate news stories in AP Style.
- Experience with live-production systems such as OBS Studio, vMix, switchers, ENPS, or similar streaming tools.
- Knowledge of WordPress, Akta, or similar digital content management systems.
- Familiarity with delivering content to Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and other CTV platforms.
- Ability to manage livestreams, edit video clips, host digital productions, and coordinate on-air talent and guests.
- Must work onsite in Honolulu, Hawaii.
