Lead Software Engineer: Hardware Verification R&D (Python)

What you will do

• Develop code for the hirify.global Hardware Job Scheduler product based on defined specifications and objectives.
• Validate product functionality and analyze requirements.
• Investigate and evaluate bugs, recommending improvements under time pressure.
• Determine coding, programming, and integration activities across the product architecture.
• Contribute to runtime features for the Palladium hardware emulation platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering with at least 4 years of related experience, or a master's/PhD program or degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Good knowledge of Python and experience with Linux.
• Experience with Git, Perforce, and similar tools.
• Experience with performance profiling tools such as py-spy and scripting languages including Bash and Tcl.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Analytical, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with willingness to learn and tackle challenges.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DRM or job scheduling tools such as LSF, NC, or SLURM.
• Advanced development experience with C++, distributed systems, multithreading, services, or REST APIs.
• Web frontend development experience.
• Background in Verilog or VHDL.
