TL;DR
Junior Instrument and Control Technician (Oil and Gas): Supporting the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems on an offshore production platform with an accent on safe and reliable plant operations. Focus on preventive maintenance, loop checks, commissioning, fault finding, and developing technical skills under senior supervision.
Location: Leviathan Production Platform, off the coast of Israel; site-based work on a 14/14 rotation. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Israel.

What you will do
- Assist senior technicians with installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing field instruments, control valves, actuators, positioners, analyzers, and fire and gas detection systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot sensors, transmitters, signal systems, control processors, HMIs, safety instrumented systems, process control networks, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance, basic fault finding, instrumentation loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument data sheets, technical manuals, and associated documentation.
- Participate in on-the-job and formal technical training while identifying reliability, integrity, carbon reduction, and safety improvements.
- Follow HSE policies, safe operating procedures, and permit-to-work systems; participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidate with a technical diploma, vocational training, or apprenticeship in instrumentation, electrical and instrumentation, automation, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of industrial instrumentation principles and maintenance of electrical or instrumentation equipment in a process operating facility.
- Willingness to work in a site-based oil and gas environment on a 14/14 rotation.
- Legal authorization to work in Israel.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with good communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable using written and spoken English and communicating clearly.

- Knowledge of fire and gas protective systems.
