Finance Transformation Intern, Spring 2027

Location: On-site in the Burbank, California area, with occasional work-from-home days requiring reliable internet and a dedicated workspace. The internship runs from January 2027 through June 2027.

Pay: $23.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support finance transformation projects that create long-term operating efficiencies across business segments.
• Research data, systems, and tools to streamline finance processes.
• Partner with finance teams across multiple functions to understand and address complex operational issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to strengthen coordination across business segments.
• Use data analytics and visualization storytelling to communicate findings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, taking at least one class at the time of application, or participating in a Disney College Program or internship.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Coursework or a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to structure projects involving ambiguous data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups and executives.
• Must be fully available for approximately 40 hours per week for the full six-month internship. Applicants must provide their own housing and reliable transportation.

Nice to have

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and other business intelligence tools.
• Junior or senior academic standing.
