What you will do
- Lead strategic sourcing, competitive supplier evaluations, contracting, and commercial negotiations across assigned MEA spend categories.
- Draft and negotiate supplier contracts, Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and related documentation.
- Provide third-party governance across MEA, including supplier performance monitoring, issue resolution, risk oversight, scorecards, surveys, and reporting.
- Lead recurring Enterprise Business Reviews with business partners, stakeholders, and supplier leadership.
- Oversee supplier due diligence, risk assessments, contract maintenance, business continuity reviews, insurance certificate reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
- Coordinate outsourcing and third-party governance compliance and support regulatory interactions in the UAE.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, legal, operations, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- At least 11 years of experience in strategic sourcing, third-party management, global procurement, supplier governance, operations, or related management roles.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, negotiating supplier engagements, and overseeing complex contracted arrangements in a multinational or matrixed environment.
- Strong knowledge of the full Source-to-Pay lifecycle, supplier due diligence, contracting, governance, performance management, and payment processes.
- Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, analytical, communication, presentation, relationship management, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Fluency in English is required; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required.
Nice to have
- Arabic language proficiency.
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance, health services, pharmacy benefits management, or another regulated industry.
- Experience with Ariba, ProcessUnity, Icertis, or equivalent procurement, third-party management, and contract lifecycle systems.
- Experience with indirect procurement categories, international regulatory frameworks, UAE outsourcing requirements, or third-party risk management.
- Team coaching or mentoring experience and certifications such as SIG, CSCP, or CPM.
