TL;DR
Engineering Project Manager - Stormwater (Civil Engineering): Leading stormwater management and engineering/construction projects through the full project lifecycle with an accent on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client delivery. Focus on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, technical oversight, floodplain management, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across national offices.

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

  • Lead stormwater management, design engineering, and engineering/construction projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and project risks.
  • Provide independent leadership and technical oversight for engineers, analysts, and technical staff.
  • Coordinate project teams across national offices and provide internal quality control within the stormwater practice.
  • Serve as the primary client contact in meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Support pursuits, business development, client account growth, and project delivery in a seller-doer role.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in stormwater management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable engineering or applied science discipline.
  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience with ICPR/Stormwise, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS ArcMap, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage project financial and delivery objectives while maintaining technical and client-service quality.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Infoworks ICM, XP-SWMM, ICPR 4, and ArcGIS Pro.
  • CFM certification or experience with floodplain management.
  • Knowledge of FEMA RiskMap, flood risk analysis and mapping standards, preliminary and post-preliminary processing, and MIP.
  • Local experience or client relationships in northeast and southwest Florida, including knowledge of FDEP and WMD criteria and permitting.
