What you will do
- Lead concept development and production art across the social casino portfolio, live operations, and promotional content.
- Define visual quality standards, style guides, creative direction, and consistency across games and features.
- Lead the transition to AI-assisted art production by establishing scalable workflows for concept art, asset generation, localization, animation support, VFX exploration, and production artwork.
- Evaluate generative AI technologies and integrate suitable tools into production pipelines in partnership with Technical Art and Engineering.
- Develop prompt libraries, workflow documentation, quality standards, and governance for AI-generated content.
- Mentor artists, collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Production, and external vendors, and measure improvements in production speed and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Animation, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Art Director or senior creative leader in the games industry.
- Exceptional 2D and/or 3D artistic skills, including composition, color, lighting, typography, visual storytelling, and UX.
- Experience shipping mobile or live-service games and understanding production pipelines, asset optimization, and game development workflows.
- Professional experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Runway, Kling, or similar.
- Experience building repeatable AI workflows, mentoring creative teams, and driving organizational change.
Nice to have
- Social casino or slot game development experience.
- Experience with Unity pipelines, VFX, and 3D software such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Modo, or Houdini.
- Experience integrating AI into commercial production environments.
- Familiarity with AI governance, copyright considerations, model training limitations, responsible AI practices, and internal AI playbooks.
