Traveling Project Manager / Estimator (Mission Critical)

Location: Remote - Wyoming, United States; occasional travel and overnight stays to jobsites outside the office area, approximately 10%.

What you will do

• Identify bid opportunities through client relationships, networking, public and private postings, and assigned opportunities.
• Estimate construction projects by reviewing plans and specifications, calculating quantities, gathering quotes, and preparing bid submissions.
• Manage awarded projects from start to finish, including scheduling, staffing coordination, progress monitoring, safety, compliance, and client communication.
• Track labor, equipment, materials, billing, collections, payables, and monthly over- or under-billing.
• Obtain required permits and licenses and manage project change orders and scope adjustments.
• Coordinate with project owners, general contractors, field teams, operations staff, and leadership to deliver projects safely, on time, and on or under budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with construction bidding and project management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor vehicle record, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and work in office and variable jobsite environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Teams.
• Working knowledge of Viewpoint Vista and HCSS construction software.
