Director of Clinical Quality (Healthcare Quality Assurance)

What you will do

• Own clinical quality assurance and systematic chart audit operations across service lines and telemedicine programs.
• Manage audit schedules, sampling methods, standardized scorecards, escalation pathways, and department workflows.
• Supervise, train, and calibrate Clinical Quality Analysts to maintain inter-rater reliability, audit accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Convert audit data into KPIs, dashboards, and risk-trend analyses for the CMO and Medical Directors.
• Execute, track, and document clinician coaching plans and corrective actions directed by medical leadership.
• Enforce HIPAA privacy standards, minimum-necessary data access controls, and secure documentation workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, clinical operations, compliance, or chart auditing.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Deep familiarity with EMRs, clinical documentation review, quality methodologies, data analytics, and executive-level dashboarding.
• Experience with telemedicine, digital health, or high-volume multi-state clinical operations is strongly preferred.
• A US clinical license is not required; backgrounds in nursing, allied health, HIM, or international medicine are welcome.
