What you will do
- Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within the scope of practice.
- Administer medications, provide wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens according to provider orders.
- Maintain medical equipment and a clean, safe care environment.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
Requirements
- Graduate from a National League for Nursing-accredited program, with an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Current practical or vocational nursing license in the state of practice is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
- At least three years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
