Technical Production Specialist (Retail Design)

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn, United States; 100% on-site. Availability for nights, weekends, overnights, and out-of-market travel may be required.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Translate established creative direction into renderings, visualizations, mock-ups, and presentation materials for retail installations, pop-ups, brand activations, and experiential projects.
• Create 3D models, floor plans, elevations, dimensioned layouts, technical drawings, and fabrication-ready documentation.
• Prepare print- and production-ready artwork for signage, vinyl graphics, environmental branding, wayfinding, packaging, and physical applications.
• Evaluate materials, substrates, finishes, fabrication methods, print production, and installation requirements to resolve production details and ensure feasibility.
• Review proofs, shop drawings, production files, material callouts, and finish specifications for accuracy and alignment with approved design intent.
• Collaborate with fabricators, printers, vendors, and installation partners, including on-site walkthroughs and quality-control reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience producing design and production deliverables for experiential, retail, exhibition, environmental, or scenic design projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating 3D renderings, environmental graphics, technical documentation, production-ready artwork, and built or physical design work.
• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp and rendering tools such as V-Ray, Enscape, Twinmotion, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with strong print-preparation skills.
• Ability to create, read, interpret, and review floor plans, elevations, dimensioned drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.
• Ability to work fully on-site at hirify.global HQ in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with flexibility for nights, weekends, overnights, and out-of-market travel.

• Experience working in Figma.
