TL;DR
FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis): Managing financial reporting, forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic modeling for a scaling senior living technology business with an accent on financial performance analysis, cash flow planning, and cross-functional business partnership. Focus on building financial models, validating ERP and CRM data, analyzing variances and margins, and assessing new product economics and market risks.
Location: Permanent work from home; Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week aligned with EST.
Compensation: Hourly pay rate determined through the application assessment process.

What you will do
- Prepare management reports covering financial results, forecasts, and key performance metrics, and present actionable findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with departments on annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and financial models.
- Improve FP&A processes, streamline workflows, and increase reporting accuracy.
- Source and validate data from NetSuite, Salesforce, and other systems while supporting cash flow projections across business segments and products.
- Reconcile expense coding, analyze variances, and coordinate with accounting teams, consultants, and auditors on significant transactions.
- Model new product economics and emerging market strategies, including margin analysis, project costing, purchasing initiatives, and restructuring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- At least one year of experience in investment banking, private-company FP&A, or public accounting; Big Four experience is preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling and presentation skills using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and capitalized labor.
- Private equity and SaaS experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Experience with a business intelligence or reporting tool.
- Experience supporting multi-entity operating structures or businesses scaling from $10M to $100M in revenue.
