What you will do

• Protect guests, ambassadors, animals, property, and other assets.
• Enforce park procedures, policies, laws, and statutes within the park area.
• Patrol the park on foot and by bicycle while responding to criminal activity and emergencies.
• Conduct traffic and crowd control and assist with locating and reuniting lost children.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and safety-focused presence while delivering excellent guest service.
• Inspect facilities and property, support regulatory and SEA compliance audits, and follow up on corrective actions.

Requirements

• Current state police officer status and POST certification required.
• At least one year of service with an accredited law enforcement agency.
• Ability to enforce laws and statutes within the local park area while off duty from the full-time police employer.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting SEA standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods in extreme weather conditions.
• Availability for weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays, required training, tests, and certifications.
