Scheduler (Industrial Turnarounds): Developing and managing integrated schedules for refinery and petrochemical turnaround work with an accent on Primavera P6 planning, resource forecasting, and cross-functional execution readiness. Focus on analyzing schedule risk, optimizing critical paths, coordinating maintenance and capital project scope, and driving safe, predictable turnaround delivery.
Location: North Salt Lake, Utah, United States of America; local candidates only
Relocation is not offered. Expatriate assignments and employment visa sponsorship are not available, and candidates on time-limited visas will not be considered.

What you will do
- Plan and participate in turnaround execution and contribute to long-range turnaround plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary worklists and develop integrated maintenance, inspection, operations, and capital project schedules.
- Compile and review execution plans, identify schedule risks, and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage documents and data in the IMPACT Web turnaround management application.
- Facilitate schedule reviews, turnaround close-outs, look-backs, and benchmarking.
- Support major customers and lead medium-scope projects with limited supervision.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of planning and scheduling experience in industrial maintenance, capital projects, or turnaround environments.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, including logic development, resource leveling, critical path analysis, and schedule optimization.
- Strong understanding of turnaround processes, work management systems, and execution planning.
- Experience with resource histograms, manpower forecasts, contractor staffing plans, and schedule risk analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be a local candidate able to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Nice to have
- Experience with major refinery or petrochemical turnarounds exceeding 100,000 labor hours.
- Knowledge of IMPACT, PHC, Schedule Assurance, SOFA development, and turnaround governance.
- Experience with SAP PM, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or other project controls and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with schedule benchmarking, forecasting, earned value, and turnaround performance metrics.
