What you will do

• Deliver basic to complex patient and family care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Use the nursing process to create a therapeutic and caring environment.
• Involve patients and families in goal setting and care planning, and communicate plans across shifts and care settings.
• Apply evidence and national or specialty standards to guide clinical practice.
• Use clinical decision-making and critical-thinking skills to provide competent care.
• Support workflow improvements, professional practice, and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• ASN required, with active enrollment in a BSN program and a signed BSN commitment form; BSN preferred.
• Hold temporary Graduate Nurse licensure and obtain permanent licensure through the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Obtain BCLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Pursue professional certification when eligible or within three years of entering specialty practice.
• Develop basic computer skills as health-system systems are introduced or upgraded.
