Annual base salary: $120,400–$198,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do
- Analyze, design, develop, and configure Guidewire Policy Center systems and related technical solutions.
- Define technical requirements and implement complete solutions based on user and system specifications.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, document, and monitor system health, alerts, defects, and incidents.
- Consult with users and coordinate interactions between systems and technical support areas.
- Work independently on well-scoped and loosely scoped engineering problems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Four additional years of software engineering experience.
- Intermediate delivery skills, including estimation, incremental releases, automation, tradeoff analysis, and predictable execution.
- Domain expertise in immediate systems and working knowledge of adjacent systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Intermediate leadership skills and the ability to support an environment where engineers learn and grow.
