What you will do
- Guide perfumers in developing, evaluating, and adjusting new and existing fragrance formulations.
- Evaluate fragrances against organizational standards, customer requirements, and olfactive direction.
- Analyze market and fragrance trends and compare competitor products to identify derentiation opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to translate consumer preferences into fragrance recommendations.
- Provide structured feedback to support formula optimization and fragrance submissions.
- Prepare samples and documentation while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory processes.
Requirements
- Strong sensory evaluation skills with accurate and consistent assessment of olfactive performance.
- Understanding of fragrance development processes, applications, and formulation considerations.
- Ability to translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable fragrance direction.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Collaborative approach when working with marketing, sales, creative, and perfumery teams.
- Understanding of global fragrance safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in fragrance evaluation, sensory analysis, or perfumery support.
- Familiarity with IFRA guidelines and global fragrance regulatory standards.
- Experience anticipating trends and proactively guiding fragrance direction.
