Salary: $120,300–$274,800 annually for U.S. payroll offers, with compensation determined by skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do
- Serve as the surface land subject matter expert on cross-functional business unit teams.
- Compile, analyze, and communicate land data, including public records research to determine surface ownership.
- Negotiate and draft surface-use agreements, rights-of-way, leases, utility easements, crossing agreements, and related oil and gas agreements.
- Issue surface title clearances and clear-to-construct work for rig lines.
- Provide work direction to field land agents and outside legal counsel.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, resolve surface-owner questions and complaints, and make risk-based business recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry land-related experience; surface land experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills, including experience resolving difficult negotiating situations.
- Ability to build and influence internal and external relationships and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship and time-limited visa status are not accepted.
Nice to have
- Experience with Quorum Land Systems, Quorum Geographic Information Systems, and Google Earth.
- Education in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Energy Commerce, or Business.
- Advanced degree in Law or an MBA.
