TL;DR
Product Manager – Filler Metals (Welding and Industrial Solutions): Developing and executing the Filler Metals strategy across the Med sub-region with an accent on portfolio management, technical sales support, and market positioning. Focus on launching and phasing out products, resolving customer performance issues, delivering technical training, and translating market feedback into product and commercial actions.
Location: Italy; hybrid work indicated

What you will do
- Define and execute the local implementation of the European Filler Metals strategy across the Med sub-region.
- Provide technical expertise, product recommendations, and troubleshooting support to sales teams, distributors, and customers.
- Deliver product and application training for internal commercial teams and distributor partners.
- Plan product launches, phase-outs, portfolio transitions, sales campaigns, and growth initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance, pricing, market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to recommend commercial actions.
- Communicate market feedback and customer requirements to European Product Management and support sales and margin objectives.
Requirements
- Technical or engineering degree, with secondary technical education as the minimum level.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in product management, commercial support, or sales support.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and filler metals.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Local language proficiency at C1 level and English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 2–3 days per week within the region.
Nice to have
- University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Welding Technician or Welding Engineer certification.
- Experience in a multinational organization, with distributor networks, or with industrial customers.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
