TL;DR
Machine Technician - 12Hr. Day Shift (B3) (Medical Device Manufacturing) (GMP/Production): Operating and troubleshooting production machinery to manufacture high-quality medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment with an accent on equipment operation, quality control, and accurate production documentation. Focus on identifying non-conforming products, resolving basic process issues, following GMP and safety requirements, and supporting continuous improvement.
Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite production role with a rotating 3/4 x 12-hour day-shift schedule and regular, predictable on-site attendance.
Hourly pay rate: $23.31 per hour

What you will do
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
- Manufacture medical products in line with production schedules, quality standards, and GMP requirements.
- Monitor product quality and identify non-conforming materials or products for disposition or rework.
- Complete production records and documentation to support compliance and performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and minimize defects.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, basic problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain accuracy across multiple tasks.
- Regular on-site attendance and availability for overtime or non-standard schedules are required.
- Ability to stand and move frequently and lift, push, pull, or move up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
Nice to have
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
- Experience in a regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food manufacturing.
- Industry certifications, technical training, or experience with production documentation and quality systems.
