What you will do
- Supervise NDT staff and technical operations, maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Interpret codes, standards, drawings, specifications, and customer contractual documents.
- Select and verify radiographic and other NDT methods for inspecting ammunition items.
- Serve as the primary interface for customers, auditors, and facility visitors.
- Approve NDT procedures and related work instructions for technical adequacy.
- Direct training, examination, and certification of radiographic and other NDT personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 7 years of NDT radiography experience.
- Ability to regularly perform all job functions at the company office or work site.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing and prepare and read complex documents in English.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and contractual documents.
- Ability to conduct or direct training and examinations in the certified method.
Nice to have
- At least 1 year of previous supervisory experience.
