Technical Business Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota campus; hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days per week in the office. Candidates must be within a 90-minute commutable distance.

Estimated base pay: $72,000–$134,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders, project and program managers, architects, engineers, and subject matter experts to translate business objectives into actionable requirements.
• Lead discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, and process reviews to identify root causes and desired outcomes.
• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, and break initiatives into epics, features, and delivery-ready work.
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, decision trees, business rules, and other solution documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, resolve requirements questions, manage changes, and improve business analysis practices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, data flows, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, organizing, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Ability to use Excel and other tools to document, reconcile, and validate business and technical data during implementations, testing, and process improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise technology implementations, business process improvement, system integrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security, security education, business requirements, functional requirements, or technical requirements.
